Laughing Therapy Treatment

Daily the laughter therapy is conducted in the lush lawns of Sanjeevani in early morning after Shatkarma. Laughter, initially stimulated by eye contact begins with a physical effort and soon it becomes a genuine reaction from within. The therapy along with yogic breathing brings in more oxygen to the body and the brain and results in healthier deeper diaphragmatic breathing.

Laughter therapy has some medical beneficial effects attached with it including improved cardiovascular health and positive change in mood as it produces endorphin-mediated. Laughter produced an “endorphin-mediated opiate (opium-like) effect” and plays a positive role in social bonding.
